Description
It is vital that First Aid support is available at all times.
This course gives a grounding in the basic principles of First Aid, enabling life to be preserved and minor accidents to be handled correctly.
It is not intended to replace the First Aid Response course, but rather to train participants to deal with emergencies until such time as a fully trained First Aid Responder or the emergency services arrive on the scene.
OBJECTIVES
On completion of the course participants will be able to:
- Assess the extent of injury
- Provide emergency First Aid in the workplace
- Deal effectively with common workplace injuries

METHODS OF TRAINING
The course is highly practical, with each theory session being followed by demonstration, practical and assessment of skills.
